Nikki Manitowabi
Bio:   Nikki Manitowabi is an indigenous artist from Wikwemikong located on Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island, Canada). She is of Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottowatomi descent. She works mostly with acrylic on canvas and water color on paper. Recently, she has also been experimenting with oils. Her work explores the themes of relationships, family, and teachings as inspired by the people in her home community of Wikwemikong and in surrounding communities.
